Thank You… July 28, 2005

Thank you again Wade and Michelle Mitchell, Dean and Rhonda McIntosh, and all the others that have been busy working on Canon’s fundraiser luncheon at church this Sunday! I know it will be a big success!

Thank you to everyone at Leander Church of Christ for praying constantly for Canon and for having a special contribution this Sunday for Canon’s campaign. I love you all so much!

Thank you Dean, Rhonda, Dane, and Dayton McIntosh for all your hard work on the Lemonade Stand this Saturday at Walmart! Dane and Dayton, your hearts are so huge and full of love for Canon. Jesus told us to be like children and so I look to you guys as an example of joyful giving spirits. Thank you for spending your day today walking up and down your street knocking on doors and telling them about Canon and the lemonade stand! Your dedication to this cause is unbelievable! We love you so much!

Thank you to all the churches and businesses that have put up posters for Canon’s campaign to help spread the word. In Amarillo - Southwest Church of Christ, the Church at Amarillo South, Paramount Baptist Church, San Jacinto Church of Christ, Central Church of Christ, Dr. Young’s office, and Dr. Carrasco’s office. In Abilene – Hillcrest Church of Christ, Highland Church of Christ, Westgate Church of Christ, Fannin Elementary School, Johnston Elementary School, Lincoln Middle School, and the AISD Administration Building. In Austin – Leander Church of Christ.

Thank you to Stacey Urbanczyk, Canon’s Bible class teacher, for hosting a Ladies Spa Day (August 6th) and donating the proceeds to Canon’s campaign! What a fun and relaxing idea for people who want to help!

Thank you to Gary Boyett and Clear Channel Radio for giving Canon’s lemonade stand radio publicity this weekend!

Thank you to Tye Lamberth and Jeri Farris for your help with media coverage and to the Amarillo Globe News for wanting to be involved with Canon’s story and help to publicize events!

Thank you Paul and Melanie Partlow (my sister and brother-in-law in Lubbock) for working on a cycling event in Lubbock called “Tour de Canon”!!

Thank you Paul and Melanie Partlow and Drew’s cousins Natalie and Whitney Conner for working on a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Lubbock in October!

We’re so excited about all the things coming up for Canon’s campaign and we cannot say thank you enough. Everyone is working so hard to help us and we thank God for giving us a family that reaches out to us every day!
